Do you use scrivener?

I am trying to learn scrivener or some way to organize my material for my manuscript. I'm 76 and started writing this book nearly 50 years ago, even had Harper and Row as a publisher. but, I developed a severe case of writers block and abandoned it. My problem is organization of all of the scraps of paper I jot notes on and was told scrivener was brilliant and could help.
