Hi Jerry,

I’ve been a guild member since October of last year and I’ve learned a lot. I’m currently reading Margaret Atwood’s The Blind Assassin, which is new to me. I’ve been struck by the first line, “Ten days after the war ended, my sister Laura drove a car off a bridge.” I don’t think I would have noticed it as a great opener if not for your lessons. So, thank you for your teaching.
