In the main characters limited point of view what is the proper way to write events that occur if the main character becomes unconscious for a period of time. Thank you.

The rule, Tom, is that you're limited to one POV character per scene--preferably your main character--but if you switch, make it crystal clear who the new person is. Like:
...[main character] lay panting and his world went black.
[center this] * * *
[then double space and flush left]
...[new POV character] rushed to him and felt for a pulse... [etc.]
