Publishing

Millions of people do it annually, Melodie, and most of it is not worth reading. There's been no vetting by agents or publishers, no significant self-editing or proofreading. It does not impress traditional publishers--the ones who pay you rather than the other way around.

My goal is to get you to become a ferocious self-editor to the point where your writing can compete in the traditional publishing space. Why pay to be printed when you can get paid to be published?

That's not to say there's never a call for self-publishing, but exhaust your efforts to land a traditional publishing deal first.
