Writing format and POV

Hi Jerry,

I am yet to write my first novel. I want to know about different POV's and related rules to be followed. Also, please give your insights of writing format such as spacing, font style to write a dialog and monolog, Ideal average number of words and pages for a fiction. Please enlighten me, suggesting a guild resource is also much appreciated.

Manuscript Formatting

  • Microsoft Word .doc or .docx file format
  • Normal Microsoft Word top, bottom, and side margins
  • Left justification, not full
  • .5” paragraph indents
  • Double-spaced
  • No extra space between paragraphs
  • 12 pt. Times New Roman font
  • Only one spacebar between sentences
